The event last year was highly successful and well attended. This year the sanctuary will broaden the activities to include art and music elements and engage area community organizations to celebrate the importance and uniqueness of the sanctuary.
NOAA’s National Marine Sanctuaries are established to protect areas that encompass unique or significant natural and cultural features while allowing people to use and enjoy the ocean in a sustainable way.
